Rules for Smiggle website and Colour Crews
These are the rules which apply to you when you're using the Smiggle website at www.smiggle.com (and associated Smiggle domains) or participating in Colour Crews.

Be nice!
This website is a place for having fun, playing games, learning about Smiggle products, shopping for Smiggle goodies, and showing your talent in Smiggle's regular competitions. Regardless of which Colour Crew you join, everyone is part of the Smiggle community, so be nice to all people using the site.

Be safe!
Don't post personal information about yourself or other people on the public sections of the Smiggle website or in your Colour Crew profile. Personal information includes a real name, address, phone number, birthday, email address or other information which could be used to identify you or someone else. When joining a Colour Crew, choose a display name which is different to your real name.

Be original!
This website is a place for originality! Smiggle wants to see material which you've written or created yourself, not copied material. Copying and publishing other people's work without their permission may lead to an action for copyright infringement against you.

Smiggle's material
The Smiggle team has spent a lot of time and effort creating the Smiggle website and developing the Smiggle brand. The trade marks, text, images, layout, designs and software associated with the website are owned or licensed by Smiggle, and may only be copied with the express written permission of Smiggle or the relevant owner.

Competitions
From time to time, Smiggle may run competitions on the website. Additional terms apply to these competitions which will be posted on the Smiggle website.

Awards
Smiggle may reward Colour Crew members with digital awards (of no monetary value) based on participation in activities on the website. The awards will be given in the absolute discretion of Smiggle, based on the skill of the participant. Further details of awards will be published on the Smiggle website from time to time.

Shopping
Information about shopping on the Smiggle website is available on the Shopping Information page.

Changing Colour Crews
You can change Colour Crews at any time. Simply go to your profile and update your details. The change will be effective as soon as it is processed by Smiggle.

Interaction with other sites
You can interact with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and WordPress, if you wish, through the Smiggle website. Smiggle accepts no responsibility for sites outside smiggle.com.

Use of the website
Smiggle provides the website 'as is' and provides no guarantee that it is free from viruses or other problems, or that the website will operate without interruption. It is your responsibility to protect your computer from harm when you're using this website and the internet.

Consequences of breaking the rules
All material submitted to the website will be reviewed by Smiggle prior to publication, and material which Smiggle considers inappropriate will not be published. Smiggle may remove your profile and/or your material from the website if Smiggle decides you are breaking the website rules, doing something unlawful on the site, if you've submitted or posted unsuitable material, or if your conduct on the site or in relation to another Smiggle member is inappropriate.

Privacy
In order to become a member of Smiggle, and/or to join a Colour Crew, you must complete a registration form. The personal information you provide on the registration form may be used by Smiggle for the purpose of:
- enabling Smiggle to record your profile, including your Colour Crew
- enabling Smiggle to understand its loyal customers and their preferences better
- enabling you to participate in competitions and games
- enabling you to post material on the website
- enabling you to shop online, including processing your order and sending your ordered goods;
- sending you information about all things Smiggle, including the latest products, events and special offers
If you do not provide the personal information requested by Smiggle you will not be able to create a profile, join a Colour Crew, enter competitions, play games, shop on the Smiggle website or post material on the website. Smiggle may disclose your personal information to organisations which help Smiggle maintain or update the website, run the competitions, fulfil your online shopping orders, and may use and disclose your personal information if required or authorised by law. If you want to access, update or correct your personal information you can login to your profile and do this yourself. Applicable law
These rules are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You agree that the courts in Victoria have the right to resolve any dispute about the website which arises between you and Smiggle.
